Since it’s founding in 1970, Medgar Evers College (MEC) has remained a predominantly black and urban institution located in the heart of Brooklyn, NY.  The campus is charged with providing educational, workforce development, and economic uplift opportunities to economically disadvantaged New Yorkers and its surrounding community areas. Medgar Evers College offers a comprehensive cannabis education program developed in concert with Industry, Academic, Investor, Government, and Advocacy experts. 

 

Medgar Evers College offers a comprehensive cannabis education program developed in concert with industry, academic, investor, government, and advocacy experts. The program consists of four pillars: (1) education and workforce development, including new cannabis courses that received campus-wide curriculum approval; (2) research and scholarship; (3) entrepreneurship; and (4) various types of community, health, business, and other support services.
